Hello and happy new year everyone Big Grin
I have just got hold of a David Carbone dnb sample pack, there are a couple of file formats that I'm not too sure what to use them in.
.exs
.nki
.sxt
.fxp
These seem to be part of a vst file, maybe some kind of info for the vst setting. Where do I use them? They are in "pad patches" folder so I asume they are for a synth? Or maybe a sampler?

.exs - EXS 24 Format
.nki - Kontakt format
.sxt - Reason NNXT sampler format
.fxp - Steinberg halion format

Essentially you have the same pad patches, just in lots of different formats

Commercial sample cd and patches need to appeal to a wide range of users and so commonly come in multi formats
