Please check out my new track 'Are You Ready Rmx of Nick ZZ - Justice Or Lies' and post your comments here!

New tune I have been working on. I used the sample pack that NickZZ provided me from his Justice or Lies track he made. RespeKt for that bruv. Anyhow, wanted to get some feedback. I am working on the second breakdown, and the fx automation, but the track is EQ'd pretty good I think, and you will get the general idea. Any feedback appreciated and returned

Hmm, this is not working for me mate. It starts off ok with the jazzy melodies but the main gated synth has too much stereo panning. Also, it goes on for too long. It should be used mainly on the drum fill sections just to break up the other melodies. Beats are ok but not clear enough. They are definitely muffled. If you turned off the gated synth, that would definitely help to bring out the beats and the other melodies more. Atm, the gated synth is dominanting everything. Sorry, I'm not feelin this one mate. Happy

When the amen comes in the tune starts to rock, before that point I find the drums too much in the background and a lot of stuff is too mono, except this bass-FX which is very stereo.
Really fresh style though, I like it.
Bring in the amen a lot earlier and the tune will benefit from it.

The intro sounds promising but when the drums appear the volume drops and the whole mix EQ sounds a bit dull.
voice sample is cheesy

Yea good lil intro... Are you ready goes on a bit....gets a bit irritatin..
Really needs some phat phat bass.....seems a lil to thin. But some good ideas.....strange panning noises goin on....don't think you need them.

ez Phil, again soz if i repeat any of the advice, i haven't read any of the other posts Big Grin

haha yeah ur getting back on the disco vibe, yes more please! i like the vocal, sounds like a commercial track, although i'm not really feelin that synth (wapwap) its very short almost sund like a noice, maybe play with that a bit more so it sits better in the mix, almost sounds like a fan Tongue (and its panned to wide imo)

mix sounds a tad muffled, maybe turn the synth down a bit and bring the drums out a touch
nice stuff, but not as good as ur last one Big Grin
