Suite à la sortie du premier DVD sur la scène Drum&Bass française, Wellatribe est heureuse d'accueillir le duo Parisien INTERLOPE en Belgique pour une soirée "Full Drum&Bass" qui saura enflammer le Dancefloor. Avec des artistes aux spécificités complémentaires, cette nuit vous fera voyager vers les différents styles de Drum&Bass, en passant par l'electro-Dub ou la tekstep...
INTERLOPE -- (Expressillon, Paris, FR) -
Interlope est un duo composé de Rimshot et de Dragongaz. Lorsqu'ils se rencontrent à l'Hôpital Ephémère (paris) en 97, Rimshot est alors batteur/sampleur au sein du groupe LT-NO (Naïve) et Dragongaz est membre de deux duos : Psaïzone (production de plusieurs tracks sur le label No-Tek), et Sounds Like Pistols (live drum/sampler).
Interlope naît en octobre 99, partant de l'idée que le live machine a sa place sur les dancefloors au même titre que les djs, et propose des compositions/improvisations orientées breakbeat, jungle, tekno. Après une poignée de maxis, un premier opus (Talk to The Beat) et une compilation CD de leur parcours sortis chez Jarring Effects (Computer Selecta), ils rallient le label Expressillon en 2004 pour leur deuxième album, Electrified.
Aujourd'hui, Dragongaz & Rimshot ne se contentent plus des beats galopants et de riches mélanges de drum&bass et de tekno. Ils flirtent volontiers avec une vibe proche du Breakbeat et de l’Electro Hip Hop, même s’ils savent toujours lâcher la bride en party…
Une puissance désormais amplement reconnue dans l’hexagone, les duettistes ayant multiplié les dates depuis leur association en 1999, au festival des Vieilles Charrues comme dans les teknivals, les clubs, les salles de la Fédurock et diverses raves…

La DK DANSE, depuis la fin du dernier millénaire, s'immisce sur la scène musicale en distillant un son brut inspiré par cette frénésie ambiante. Découlant d?une formation rock, LA DK DANSE a gardé cette structure pour y introduire des éléments électroniques. Le rock se mêle au Trip Hop, à la Jungle,
Drum n bass, et laisse largement part à l'improvisation. Entre DJ et musiciens, les membres de LA DK DANSE oscillent entre différentes influences allant du rock au Free Jazz en passant par toutes les musiques électroniques. Le résultat est un son énergique mêlé d'ambiances planantes.
PTERODACTYL -- (Drumadix, FR)
Membre du Crew désormais célèbre "Drumadix", Pterodactyl commence ses lives en 1999 sur les scènes Lilloises et Bruxelloise, où ses prestations Drum'n'Bass ou Hardcore enflamment les dancefloor. La précision de ses lives fait de lui un producteur hors pair. Ses sorties se font rares, et il nous fera l'honneur de venir jouer un set tranchant Dark DrumnBass.

DJ Drum'n'bass polyvalent, Bert-Ill distille ses plaques entre Lille, Courchevel et Rouen. Doté d'une excellente technique, il a déjà fait ses preuves dans de nombreux lieux en France et en belgique (Tri Postal LILLE, Dour Festival Off 2007...). Il viendra accompagné de ses potes SPLIT (Montpellier) et les Dark Jedis MC pour les lyrics.

Following the release of FRENCHY DRUMMERS, the first DVD documentary about the French drum&bass scene, WELLATRIBE is proud to welcome Parisian duo INTERLOPE in Belgium for a dancefloor-smashing "full drum&bass" night. Presenting artists with complementing characteristics, this night will be a journey through many flavours of drum&bass, electro-dub and techstep.
INTERLOPE -- (EXPRESSILLON, Paris, FR) -
INTERLOPE is a duo comprised of RIMSHOT and DRAGONGAZ. At the time they met at l'Hôpital Ephémère (Paris) in 97, RIMSHOT was playing drums/samplers for LT-NO (Naïve) and DRAGONGAZ was part of two duos: PSAÏZONE (No-Tek) and SOUNDS LIKE PISTOLS (drums/sampler live act).
INTERLOPE was born is October 99 from the idea that a hardware-based live act had as much of a place on the dancefloor as DJs. Their act mixed up their own productions with improvisations, encompassing breakbeat, jungle and techno. After a couple of smashing releases, their first album (TALK TO THE BEAT) and a CD compilation of their evolution on JARRING EFFECTS (COMPUTER SELECTA) they joined the EXPRESSILLON crew in 2004 for their second album, ELECTRIFIED.
Nowadays DRAGONGAZ and RIMSHOT can't restrain to rolling beats and rich mixtures of drum&bass and techno, flirting with vibes from breakbeat to electro hip-hop, even though they know more than ever how to make all hell break loose!
Their brute force is now amply reckoned with throughout France after a huge number of dates since they associated back in 99, from the VIEILLES CHARRUES festival to teknivals, clubs, FEDUROCK network venues and various underground raves.

Experimental hybrid at the borders of drum&bass, rock, hip-hop and dub, LA DKDANSE associate the technology with the instruments to produce energetic sounds mixed with psychedelic atmosphere.
The band is constantly looking for new tones, new mediums and new means of expression. Real electronic percussionists on stage, the five members of LA DKDANSE play sounds and videos simultaneously, improvising a composition of tunes and pictures that give dimension to their music.
LA DKDANSE has played with famous bands like X-MAKEENA, HIGH TONE, IMPROVISATORS DUB, KALY LIVE DUB, INTERLOPE... Today they're exposing their first self-produces EP and travel to new countries after many shows in France and Belgium in the last ten years.
PTERODACTYL -- (DRUMADIX, Lille, FR)
Part of well-known French crew DRUMADIX, PTERODACTYL started playing his live acts in 99 in both Lille and Brussels scenes, where his hardcore and drum&bass sets shred dancefloors to pieces. His precisely constructed live acts have made him a highly skilled producer, and even though it's quite rare to see him playing out anymore he'll bless us with a blasting dark drum&bass set.

With sets covering the whole drum&bass spectrum, BERT-ILL has been sharing his DJ time between Lille, Courchevel and Rouen. His tight mixing introduced him to many clubs and festivals in France and Belgium (TRI POSTAL LILLE, DOUR OFF FESTIVAL 2007...). He'll play alongside his mate SPLIT from Montpellier, and they'll be backed up by the DARK JEDI MCs.

The Lille collective comprising DJs PEEL, HOPE and KOSH has built a reputation for itself with a very dark vision of drum&bass, highly original drumcore sets and the ability to set a strong, fiery party mood.
