Please check out my new track 'Disco Jumpup' and post your comments here!
What's up all. Finally think I'm getting finished with this track. I finished EQ'n everything to give it more room. Definetly sounds waaay better than the first one I posted. Not really sure what to do for the outro, but its pretty much finished. Let me know what you think
nice intro, this is my 1st listen in 2009, so happy new year...
nice subs in the drop. i think the drums could smack more, especially the snare, you could layer it with a high pass snare maybe...
interesting so far man, nice 2nd drop at 1min 50
funky, different and good, you win
have a good 2009
peace
__ Freestyle has been permanently banned from this site for the following reasons:
- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators
- despite being warned about his behaviour and ultimately being banned from this site he continues to create new aliases to threat and insult our members and moderators
I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.
His aliases horrorscope, nu-balance, earthquake, free_style and freestyleDNB have also been banned from this site.
loving the track, could do with more of a build before the initial drop, dont get me wrong love the arrangement but needs more hype before the grimey sweet sub sounds.also love the choir type thing youve got going on the breakdown looking forward to hearing the outro and other projects youve got going.
not bad mate liking the tune, but after about 17secs i would have had a phat drop coming and blown it way with a proper rolling bass. like it tho, get some warps in there!!!
not particularly liking the hats in this intro, its not the sound, Id change the tone on em but then again Im tonedeaf
once it gets going its pretty cool retro stylee. some of the sounds like that stab at the ~1.40 buildup are sticking out, not really shure why is that could be eq-ing. what is strange is that it quite works in the drop itself
vibe is alright still. could easily imagine skankign over this one
nice to hear improvement in your work sonce lasr I heard which was a while back, infact heearing anything on the site/reviewing, sorry for that
Thanks for the positive feedback all, and yo to cynik. Gotta love how you have been in-cog-negro
for a long ass time, and pop out to review one of my tunes. Respekt, and good to see ya back cyn.
Last post i said that u probably needed more of a hype to the drop but after listening a few more times i get what your trying to get at,i think the drop is unexpected in the way it comes in after a bar and its better that way for the lick that it is.Saying that, the build up on the breakdown could do with a bit extra,at the 1.30 mark, could do with more entisement to let people know that the subs not far away, still loving the choir part tho, would like to see that come back in as part of the atmoshere for the outro.Drums great, arrangement good, could easily hear this pumpin in a club no doubt!!!!!
Haha yesss sounds cooler man. I like how you just kept at this song man improved it added some pretty mean as elements and now the tracks soundin sweet!!! good job.......yea outros smoutros who gives a shit....end it with a bang. Wicked man love it!!
I'm feelin the discoball vibe on this one.I would drop some of the sub Freq's down a bit and try and get the drums to come thru some more. I'm not sure about that "broken piano key stab", tone that one down a notch or two and throw a touch of reverb on it. It's a bit to in your face
