why cant i upload a track?
doin nothing different than iv always done n its saying that im not uploading a mp3
very pissed off at the mo. has the upload method changed / been updated?

There have been no changes to the uploading in the last 6 months. It is very stable. This has been tested on the latest Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 3.0.5, Opera 9.63, Safari 3.2, Google Chrome 1.0.154.36. Works on Windows XP, Vista, MacOSX and Linux.
The problem is probably with your system. It can depend on a lot of things. Which OS and browser are you using? Did you update your OS and browser to the latest versions? Which program do you use for converting to MP3? Which is your default MP3 player? Which programs have you installed recently?
Which is the exact error message you get? Copy/paste the full error message. My guess is that it is complaining about the file type. Sometimes when you install a new software it can mess up your file types. You probably installed some software recently which broke your system (Winamp maybe?). Try uninstalling the software you installed after you last uploaded something successfully.
If you use Windows and your file types have been configured badly (eg by letting Winamp set the file types) this can break your browser's upload function. Set your mp3 file type back to normal (this is in folder options).
BTW if you can't be asked to spend time figuring out your system's configuration the easy way out is to use another browser.

Yeah that is what I expected, your file types in your computer are messed up.
This has been reported before and was in most of the cases caused by installing Winamp. People reported to have fixed it by installing VLC player and setting VLC to be the default player for MP3 files.
Can you please go to this site and copy/paste the browser details that are shown there?
Eg. for my browser it says "Your User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5"
