Please (DELETED) my new track 'Tomos- Killing Giants (Nick And Erina Z- Remix)' and post your comments here!

We are updating the tune, this version is poo. Cheers. Z

This song started out with Tomos asking for Erina Z to sing. After we recorded her vocals and listened to the tune for a few weeks we both fell in love with the melodies and we asked Tomos if we could have the song files so we could work a RMX of our own. It's a Tomos original song/collaboration featuring Erina Z/ now we Re-Mixed it.

(This song is not finished) There is a bit more we hope to do with this project so please give us some feedback & ideas so we can improve it. We used the vocals more as backing vocals to create more space and a dark feeling, let us know if you think it sounds good. Cheers.

wow, absolutely loved the original tune! Big Grin think the intro could maybe do with a bit more like some pads to fill it out

love when the beats come in tho and vocals are sweet Big Grin

sub could be turned up i can hear it teasing. great drums edits

2nd drop is wicked, i'd like to hear some of the synth melodies a bit earlier on (personal pref)

a good rmx so far, vocals take it to a more eerie darker place good work Bigup

Thanks Ketz, Tomos wanted the sub to come up; we will bring it up a bit more and try to find a pad to fill in the intro. Thanks for the review. Z

It's brilliant to see you guys uploading this. I haven't listened to your original version for a few weeks but for some reason this sounds much better now. Big Grin It still manages to retain enough elements from the original to be called a remix, yet the feel and vibe of the whole thing has changed, which is great. I'd agree with Ketz that it still needs more sub. Also, personally, I'd love to hear more of Erina's vocals. But that's personal preference. I just think they fit beautifully with the melodies. In terms of EQing, it's pretty much spot on, apart from needing a bass boost.

Well done guys, this is excellent (completely impartial opinion there. Big Grin )

Oh it's all gooooood! We are going to boost the bass, we want to leave the vocals in the back. She wants them in the back, I previously had them up front, one of the reasons also was when we were dropping them on the tune, Erina said that you were probaly going to mix them up front and she wanted it to be worked diff than the orrgional. We will keep working the tune. Cheers. Z

It's pretty cool you have lots of variation I like but I think there could be something sitting out in front of that bass to make it really sound phat...give it some sizzle. I like your soundscapes....just that one at the beginning just i think could be toned down a bit or drop it out after dropping the bass.. but enjoyed the listen though...you've done a lot of work with this...good job!

drums are sick. Vocals are really nice but i couldn't really pick out a tune in the bass an the rest of the track, sounds a bit too ambient, but that maybe the style an it might jus not be my thing. Mix wise, everythings really nice tho, an the combination of u 3 is obviously makin some wicked new dnb, keep it up Smile
