George Remaken - Light bad chance |
|
Please check out my new track 'Light bad chance' and post your comments here!!!
I tested sound of TC native bundle reverb, filtrator, eq and compressor in this song. I have to say, it has slightly better sound than TPOV, but structure of the song is different. It's not so moving and opgefokt:-), but it has more punch in drums, bass is cs80v and leads V-station, enjoy...

Intro is quite cool indeed.
Dark stabs: nice
Drop should make a tad more impression, add some effects or stuff there to make it stand out more
Jumpy bassline: cool
Enuf variation until now
I think you should bring in some other elements after at least 4 minutes, coz it starts getting a tad to repetetive then.
Cool track.

Thanx for Your opinion, but I didn't mean it to be only subject of academic research in this server. It's for people to dance and how can You mix it If it would be too complex?
Anyway Dj will play it for 3-4 minutes and Its part will be covered by another song.Every track doesn't have to be full of curles.Rhythm and bass line are the main goal for me, So take it as I simply DO NOT AGREE with your review because It was my intention to keep the track in such form.
:-) Yes, originnaly i had one more deep and slow reece exactly where you told me to place it, but I removed it from the song, It didn´t fit the song.
Do You think that for example Kerbclawler from Ed Rush isn´t repetitive??????:-))))))))) YEEEESSSS IT ISSSSSS, and thats beauty of it!!!!!!!!!!
Peace

you can have variation without getting complex which would keep a tune from being too repetitive...some of Bad Company's tunes are pretty complex, but everyone plays them...tunes like Ed Rush & Optical's 'Alien Girl', Mampi Swift's 'The One', Sappo's 'Ding Dong Bass' were all very, very repetitive, i'll be the first to admit that, but those were released several years ago---it seems with all these different influences finding there way into dnb that while dnb is essentially repetitive, more producers are adding alot more variation and having several different patterns/phrases that they can play around with so it doesn't get so repetitive...
as far as your track...
yeah, i agree that the stab is a bit too loud...this tune reminds me alot of Ed Rush & Optical's 'Pacman' (the bassline)...didn't really care for the drum kit you used but the beat itself was nicely done...i think it would've benefitted the tune better to have dropped out that synth for a bit after the 4 minute mark and just had the beat and the bassline play for a couple bars or something...a more pronounced breakdown would help break up the 'repetitive-ness'---once the tune gets going, it pretty much doesn't stop at all until it ends, which in a way contributes to it sounding repetitive...all in all, it's a pretty decent tune that could be made alot better with some more work on the over-all structure...
