I'm on the hunt for original breaks. The Tighten Up break, originally by Archie Bell & The Drells (I think), was used from a James Browns live cover by Dom & Rolland. It's this break I'm after, as this is layered with the amen to get to the tramen, which is fat man! Anyone got this break at decent qualtiy. Also, is there a commercial sample cd available, that has these original breaks? All the sample cds I've looked at seem to be a bit gash when it comes to original breaks.

Regards,

Mark.

You might be after the version from "Maceo & The JB's".

Check out the 101 breaks pack, it should be in there.

IIRC the tramen has the Pulp Fiction break in it too.

However, you can find some good quality breaks here.

ez selig, yeah you're right the pulp fiction break is in there too! forgot to mention. Cheers for the link, but the "You can download all of the files in one ZIP file HERE . WARNING - Its 210 Mb!" seems to have the wrong sample attached (1.49MB)! Have you noticed this?

Actually, ignore this, I've gone for the bourbonbreaks.zip which looks like it contains all the breaks. Cheers for this btw.
