Please check out my new track '2 Short Cuts From Two Of My New Tracks' and post your comments here!
These are not complete tracks. Just a couple of ideas. First bit is about 45 seconds, second bit about 1.5 mins...
The first track is called 'Your Secret'
The Second bit is going under the name 'decoded'
Just after any feedback on sound ect. Any ideas are appreciated.
Both tracks are done using Reason 3. All synth sounds, processing ect is my own, except the vocal cut in the first track, I'm not very good at making my own female vocals

I like the first idea better than the second.
Drums sound muffled and the percussion is panned to the left (keep percussion almost centered).
Drums could be a tad louder and more defined.
Some filtering on the bass is not working very well, the bass loses its power.

I also like the first idea better, maybe concentrate on that one and finish it.
Both drum tracks need more definition. Snappier snare and the kick shouldn’t get lost in your sub.
So make the first one longer and put it up on here again for further/deeper reviews. Can’t really comment on it as it is (except off that I like the soundscape and ideas), I need to hear more.
Yea this is certainly pretty cool man. Don't know bout that sound that comes in after the drop. That squelchy sound...eithter too much reverb on it or something.....but the breaks and stuff are cool . I like it. Some phatter reese bass or something would be good coming in!......And maybe try something different other than that reese pad at the beginning and drop something fat after the build....hmm yea ideas. I can chuck em down outta my head but can't say em
I prefer the first tune. The bass in the second tune sounds over processed to me. It's starting to sound like a bassline from the planet swamp.
Seriously tho, I'd tone it down a bit to make sure that it cuts through a bit cleaner. Also, the kick is not defined or thumpy enough. It's too 'flabby'. I do like some of the background melodies tho. The bassline in the first tune is very good. Seems to have more direction than the second tune and the whole thing is well put together. I'd deffo concentrate on that one. Lots of potential there.
