I love the new Nick ZZ tunes, they are a bit faster and more club/dancefloor oriented.
Tune seems to drop, then doesn't, then it seems to drop again and doesn't, the third try is the good one. Dancefloor-wise this is not a good idea, it would be good to have a clear droppoint.
Drop after the breakdown is a bit powerless, maybe a little more tension would be good?
I like the overall sound of the tune, maybe the vocals could be a tad clearer. But that's about all there is to complain.

Thanks for the constructive criticism/feedback. I will work on the tension and defining the "Clear" dropping point, which was faked a few times... Cheers brutha.
Diggin the atmos in the intro n the mafioso mandolins
Think the snare could be a bit crisper / sharper it sounds a bit loose to me atm
Good bass work, good arrangement, some really nice edits.
A bit repetitive after a while (struck me at about 4:30) maybe it needs some additional elements that you could throw in later in the tune to keep the interest????

Good stuff overall though, enjoyed

We did leave the snare a bit longer with a bit of reverb on some of the layers, I will tighten it up a tad. Thanks for the advice I wil work on it a bit more. Cheers. Z
a pretty good track m8 not really my cup of t but a good track sounds a bit like some of the old q project tracks.I cant really find anything bad 2 say other than its not my sort of thing the production and arrangement are good the beats and breaks were pretty nice 2.Theres a lot of variation in the track and plenty of elements but it didn't hit my dnb buttons.I think if u had this tune a few years ago u could of sold a few but a lot of producers have used that sound so it sounds right but not original and new
We fixed the snare- made it a bit tighter. Please let us know if it sounds better. We uploaded it here because the site allows us to upload edits. Cheers. Z
I recognize that pad haha! From Absynth?? Cool build love it ....When the beat comes in I would dropped that pad sound and bought something new in..personally....love it later when you dropped it sounds awwwwwweeeeeeesome. Dam good job
intro pads all good, nice and dark and moody....lush little reece teases too, loving those....not too sure about the stuttery stringed instrument, seems a tad out of place imo.....could use a bit more variation in the intro too....vocal sample is nice....drop seems to lack energy i reckon....drums are a bit weak...dont have enough bite to em....maybe a quick-paced high-passed break would brighten up the high end and get em moving a bit.....nice little edits but could use more variation, gets a bit repititive after a while, bass is good, no complaints there, good stuff overall.....
oh i remixed your tune 'raise some hell' by the way, it on my myspace page, didnt really turn out the way i hoped, kinda made a complete mess of the fl studio file but i finished it anyways, nice one for the sample pack tho
Hey guys, this is great. The intro melodies are the highlight for me, really, really errie. Drops are cool too but the bass sound is a bit muffled. Shame, cos the melodies sound great.
Yeah, I'd agree with Battle that it's a little stop-start, stop-start. It'd be nice if the drop sections were a little more defined and longer.
The melodies throughout this tune are wicked. This seems to be your forté these days.
Actually, the melodies remind me heavily of Portishead. I'm doing a trip hop tune at the moment. In fact, I reckon I could remix this into a decent (hopefully!) trip hop style tune. Any chance you could zip this up as an FL folder and send it to my email address? You know what it is. If you could do that, I'd appreciate it a lot.

Thanks guys.
Yes, I've finished the tune but I'm still trying to mix it right. It's proving quite difficult but I'm almost there. I'll drop you an email and a link within the next week (I'm off until Jan 5th. Woo hoo!!)
