Okay so I spent ageeeeeeeeeeeees on this one. Making every single little piece as perfect as I could get it. Everything quantized and sharp. EQd...no compression on the kick or snare...NO MULTIBAND COmpression.....I have it sounding as slick as I could on my monitors. The breaks I concentrated very hard on as well and used bits of variation. I hope I'm goin in the right direction.
First of all id like to apologise for this song. I accidentally had a lot of reverb left on the breaks which i accidentally put in the Send channel. Which muddys the whole thing
And the music that i'm creatin now does definitly not reflect the style that i'm after. You will see me go through a lot of transitions....
very nice intro, there seems to be a touch to much distortion on the oads tho, very nice feel to this BUT!!! get them beats to bust thru the mix and i think you will have a very good track here, also it lacks bass/ sub and i need that especially with a tune this sweet...
i think adjust them few things and your have a very original/ good tune...

Way too much reverb on the snare. Snare itself could use bit more smash, kick could use more bottom and should be a bit louder.
Mid part of the basses could be a bit more upfront.
Low end of the basses is almost non existent at times.
Mix sounds really clear which is good.
Tune could do with a clearer theme, some synth or lead should stick out more.
All in all deffo not bad.

There is no reverb on the snare...maybe to much white noise in behind?.....The snare is layered with a tighter snappier snare and thats about it. no compression nothing. Yea ther is no bottom on the kick.....will work on that one.
Must have the bass turned down?...will check up on that. Yea thanks for that. Much appreciated feedback!
Oads:-/ = pads, and if its not distortion its resonance, if its niether it could be a bad quality sample, if its not sample then you may be doing your eqs on speakers but not moniters
I hope that makes sense, and if I missed something out I give up

Yeah, deffo agree with the others about the strange snare sound. The beats do roll nicely tho because the hi hat work is good. I love the melodies too, they have a really good feel about them. They flow well. You're deffo going in the right direction. This is a cool track.

Pretty sick pad work goin on, the eerieness is awesome, really feelin this one. The drums are a little boring. The'yre perfectly acceptable as they are but i reckon they could be made even better, especially with a substitution of the snare.. breakdown is pretty long and repeats itself a little too much. I like the overall sound tho mate.. got the ambience vibe goin on. ;-)
