Apparently Hype was going to play, but pulled out when he found he wouldn't get payed, tight bastard According to the comment, Nicky B quite often does this! Anyone seen any big names at the partys? Parties are on every week in London. Not quite the same as the ones I enjoyed full on between 96-2002, but they were nothing like the first ones I went to in 91-93 either. It's the drug that have changed the scene. If you want party info and you don't know anyone with the numbers, you can try befriending some people on Partyvibe or Squatjuice (google them), but don't expect to much info straight away. Mostly they did techno kinda parties but they did have dnb 'rooms' We mostly used to work on a constantly changing web address, sign up with yer mobile number to get on the list. The random parties you come across can be okay too, but I went to a bad one in Brixton with loads of crackheads mugging peeps and shit. I used to know a few peeps running rigs around London, some are still going. I got out of the scene in 2002. Sort of was sad, but also glad. Crack was causing so much trouble. I witnessed quite a few nasty fight involving bottles and knives and saw guns on display a couple of times. I must admit, the scene was pretty grim in 2002. I went to one party about 3 month back while back in england for a month and it was pretty lush. The scene changes all the time. Personally, I'm gonna be 35 next year and I like being in bed well before 4am now days, Base, K, rock ect make me feel ill for at least 3 or 4 days after, so my party days are pretty much over.
