try using some breaks layerd with your drums
you bass is to loud and either panned or drowned in reverb and i wouldnt recomend either. read up on eq'ing, there is loads on this sites forums.
just start simple with a few drums layerd and spend some time just listening.
ez mate, nice to see u finally managed to get the tune up!
right quite bare so far man, the kick is tiny, defo needs layering, beefing up as does the snare, have a read up on what frequencies ur beats need to be hitting at as well as layering in general
structure needs more of a build and additional elements to keep things interesting
beat wise get some hi passed breaks layered in there all complimenting the same rhythm needs to roll
nice ideas with the terrorist style bass (i've used that quite a bit myself haha)
there ya go man, keep on experimenting and improving theres a lot of info on the various dnb forums
This needs a huge amount of work. The mix sounds tiny, quiet and muffled. The kick is more like a tap, the snare has a strange attack and there's a distinct lack of any melodic hook. I would seriously think about quitting this tune, and moving on to another one.
The easiest way to improve is to study some high quality dnb tunes that you really like and follow their example. Look at the way they build up the melodies, the sounds they get, the way the beats roll, the layout of the structure (most dnb has the same structure).
There. A harsh review, but it's all with the intention of helping you out. All part of the learning curve I guess.

not bad , the ideas are there you just need to take them further, and defo need to beef up the mix, keep at it dude.
peace
__ Freestyle has been permanently banned from this site for the following reasons:
- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators
- despite being warned about his behaviour and ultimately being banned from this site he continues to create new aliases to threat and insult our members and moderators
I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.
His aliases horrorscope, nu-balance, earthquake, free_style and freestyleDNB have also been banned from this site.
There's a lot of work to do.
Get some breaks and learn to slice them and get flowing rhythms out of them.
Not too much bass, there's no room left for anything else. Make some clear bassline that is entertaining for atleast 2 bars and repeat it.
Try improve bit by bit, you can't get it all right from the first try. Keep working it!

I can see where you are going with this. Your main let down is the sound quality. The drums need more punch. Try a bit of compression on them. Maybe throw another break in with it aswell.
I think you bass needs some eq to help bring out the sound.
There are some nice ideas, just need to add a bit more to it. That sub is pretty tasty. Chuck some pads in.
quite like the bass but its quite a simplistic melody so would need the drums to flow a bit more to get the whole tune to gel. As it is, the beats are quite jerky, the snare is quite fizzy and the kick is quite clicky, I think both could be better if they were a bit fatter / weightier, try layering them up with some other complimentary samples.
Definitely work on making your beats sound big. I reckon that is the first main hurdle when it comes to producing DnB. One of the keys to making a successful beat is making all the elements seem like they're glued together. It means that using EQ and compression you can make each hit fit in it's proper place. Aswell as layering up the drum hits to make each one punch through.
The bass is pretty muffled, kinda sounds like its being played next door. I reckon it's all about EQ there aswell. Read up on frequencies to hear where each element should usually sit in the spectrum. Keep at it mate, your producing will improve with time n effort.

Spot on. Words of wisdom here.
