Sounds wicked so far mate.
Good to see you back to making tunes. The bassline and beats work excellently together. I love the little beat edits you do - those little details really help to glue the whole thing together.
That bass sound is indeed excellent. Especially the modulation.
Only a few little suggestions...
1. The kick sometimes sound a bit weak and overpowered by that huge bass.
2. I reckon the snare could do with more low requencies to give it more depth and boom. Sounds a bit too mid-range for me.
3. Hi hats could be a little louder.
Yeah, it does sound slightly sparse in the main sections. Hmm, I'm not sure what it's lacking. Not much, but it just needs something extra.
I can't quite make out whether I like the high pitched synth melodies towards the end. They don't really fit the vibe but the melodies themselves are good. Maybe they simply need a different sound?
Overall tho, an excellent start. Really crisp and clear throughout.

Nah, don't get rid of it, just change the sound I reckon.

The second part sounds pretty poppy compared to those tearing bases in the first part, so if you fill up the first part, keep it light.
Good work.

Nice bassline, moves around nicely. I know what you mean about it being a bit empty, it is a little. Maybe it just needs a subtle pad in there to fill it out without drastically changing the sound. The beats are sweet too. I like the synth parts but I think the stab sound needs to be different, it doesn't match the vibe and is a bit cheesy. the gated synth thing running around underneath is excellent tho..

Nice beats ghosty. I think they could be made a bit wider though. THat synth is nasty mate. I'm messing with one like that at the moment.
Get rid of that stabbing synth crap. Makes the tune sound cheap. It destroys the atmosphere. I'm sure you could find better inspiration than some horrible cheesy synth. Maybe put a vocal in instead.
Nice start anyway, very laid back

yeah, dirty! nuff sed, wana hear a finished 1. I wouldn't worry about filling out the main section too much, I've heard alot of tunes on here an sometimes if theres 2 much goin on, it kinda looses impact, have loadsa stuff goin on in the intro an imo i wouldnt worry if its just drums an bass in the main part of the track.

I would be pleased as well man if I'd made this.
The bass, sub and beats work totally fuckin spot on together - good work
respect
Not 100% sold on the arp or the synth hits either Im afraid maybe 1 or the other??. defo agree with you on the need for some nice analog pads to fill it out in the mid range
Very very good work mate

bass is awesome, maybe turn the sub up a bit....kick sounds really good, gels well with the bass.....bass variations fit the drum patterns perfectly too....really adds to the sense of rhythm.....nice synth work....drums could use more percussion i think....sound a little empty...snare could be a bit beefier too.....mid-range bass is fantasitc, awesome modulation, the wobbly, lfo'd parts sound real pro.....great stuff overall...real potential to be something special.....get working on it!

Dark and hard... Just the way I like my Drum N Bass.Nice transition work. Cool ambiance, I really like the melodies. The bass lines are sick. Nice drum work. However if you want to fill in the main section do it with drums not pads and synths. The ambiance is already working in your favor. The Bass is sick.Throw in more DRUMS.
