slow down man where u going with that 1800bpm sounds like gabba its just a loop how long did this take to do 5 minutes you need to step back and start again i think theres some nice synth parts in there however i thik youd be better if you chopped the beat up abit and maybe itched it down a bit let us know the new edit peace #

amazingly fast there, really doesn't need to be! Please don't make drum n bass any faster! It's all a bit of a muffled mess tbh mate. It needs a whole load of cleaning up. First of all whack it down to about 175bpm and then the drums need a bit more punch to them, try EQing them to bring them out of the mix more whilst keeping an eye on what the hats and shuffles are doing. At the speed youve got it they might sound good but the key is to make it roll and it might be a different story at first when you slow it down.. Theres a great EQ guide on the production forum somewhere, apply it to the bass as
it is overpowering everything, try turning it down first and then separating it out into it's frequency ranges. It has the potential to be quite fat and subby but with a nice crisp distorted top to it.. experiment with filtering it.
quite fast innit? a bit too much goin on melody wise, sounds a bit random an the notes dont really go together. the drums flow ok. needs alot of work. keep at it tho. nice 1.

Hey man, seriously didn't notice the fastness!! I had my head boppin the whole way, lovin your bass sound and the synth you have added ever so slightly makes that extra touch, I actually really enjoyed it. Worth a lot more than the ratings it has got here. Very old school. What sounds/tracks you diggin at the moment?
__ I'll edit ya face to sit tight there in the mix
hehe im glad that actually someone likes it...
i don't really see how this is too fast either. But yeah, it is all a bit muffled, need to work on that.
@ dip, i'm listening to technical itch, dieselboy and noisia lately, I always wanted to try something more dark and techy
Yeah, the fastness wasn't such an issue for me either, even tho normally I hate fast dnb (has no groove). The big issue for me, like most people have already mentioned, is the muddyness, caused mainy by that noisy saw wave synth. Beats are ok, but the kick is clashing with the other low frequency stuff. Likewise with the gated synth. There's too many elements in the low range, all fighting with each other.
