hi , this is a track ive made in the past 2 days , my external hard drive fucked up on me the other day Frown

so im having to use the bare basics of reason 4 no samples or anything , its kinda drum and bass meets dubstep/down tempo style track i dont think theres much else i can do with it , ive heard it quite alot of times now , any suggestions please feel free , peace !!!!

i've been feelin the dubstep today mate, got stuck in 3 hrs traffic and they were playing a wicked Chase n Status track on Radio 1 Big Grin

back to good ol Reason then? nice! cool evolving pad sound quite minimalist, think the snare could maybe have a few more splashes to go with the whole vibe?

some nice little bass grunts would be good too Bigup

definately feelin it man, could do with some more filling out tho Wink

intresting feeling the down tempo side of things at the mo maybe could do with a bit more variation and possible a mc or cuban rapper of some sort enjoyed it good stuff keep it up peace

Loving this, It's dubstep with a little bit of trip hop, y'know? the steppy drums with the smooth pad, wicked combo. I think the sub could be more prominent, just sitting there a bit louder and forceful under the pad. Really would work. Love the little perc break in there. I love tunes with minimal elements that till maintain a level of progression that keeps me listening for 5 mins. Nice work mate.

nice deep bass....pads sounds nice, maybe a couple key changes might give things a different twist, kinda like a burial-style down-tempo affair this one....sounds good. drums sound nice, cool precussive elements, think the track gets a little repititive after a while, needs a bit more variation...good stuff overall tho, lush vibes throughout...

Wow, this is nice mate!! Deffo one of my favourites of yours - probably the favourite to be honest. Like Seph said, there's a lot of similarities with the stuff Burial does. (If you haven't heard his stuff, do so! It's fantastic). For that reason, I wouldn't even describe this as dubstep. The beats are too downbeat and the melodies are too trippy and, well, melodic. It think it would be a good idea to pepper the melodies with a few broken-up melodic jazz-style vocals, similar to how Burial does it.

This one definately gets the download treatment. Big Grin

Nice intro so far, beat is nice.
its almost got a slight garagey groove to it which is cool

Nice laid back pads and atmos.

like the progressiveness of the layering. there isn't alot of variations on the grooves but there is always new little sounds coming in

little breakdown........was hoping for something a little different on the drop back in.

But yes all sounding pretty tip top.

Everything has its place in the mix and the groove is cool.
Just think that main pad sound needs changing up every now and then because it runs for nearly the entire length without really doing much.

yer nice vibes on this 1, and fair play for makin this wen ur samples an patches wer fucked! Bassline a bit too simple for me, there could be a bit more variation even tho its a fairly ambient kinda minimal style. keep makin ur dubstep tunes m8, they're soundin gud.
