I have an Acer Aspire 7520, with two harddrives of 160gb. (When booting the machine, watch all the messages, one of them should say something like "press F2 to enter setup". Could be a different key though, it depends on the brand. When the message appears you need to press the mentioned key to enter the setup (duh!?). Once you are there, look carefully through all the menu's to see if there is anything like IDE device detection or something in that area. If you're not sure what you're doing then better take the machine over to a geek or go to the shop.
