The pads sound good but might be a bit too prominent compared to the bassier sounds ? also could do with a full riff rather than one note in octaves. Once it drops the bass riff is cool ( i like the use of the reverse sounds ). The notes and style of riff change a few times which is good but maybe try to use some automation over an 8 or 16 bar section or something so the sound changes up a bit cos it's that one sound used the whole way thru. Some of the notes seem a bit off aswell almost like it's kind of random. maybe that's the idea tho. Definitely got a full cycle vibe to this one ! reminds me of a roni size tune on technique that i can't remember the name of now....might be bus stop? Cool tho man. It's a little sparse in terms of melodic elements, there's just a pad for a large part of the tune. and the bassline is great but it doesn't hit you like it should. It could do with maybe another resample and some more processing to get the mids moving around so it snarls and shit. Registration Date: 10-10-2007 Posts: 2,865 Helpfulness rating:  ez man. intro is very dry beat sound very rigid (may be the effect ur going for but could be a bit more organic imo - personal pref). nice subtle edits tho once its dropped sounds a tad empty, could do with more elements to generate interest more in the backgruond maybe - pads / fx?
