Really liked the piano riffs on the intro. Maybe more reverb needed but that might just be me! poss some atmos / pads needed ?
When the beat first drops it's nice but piano needs to do less so they don't clash.
Vox border on cheesy. maybe too high pitched.
Makes me think of 'lost all faith' style tunes. Check that album to see what i mean. Make this a bit deeper and it could be just as good.
Great idea overall tho. top work
Lovin the mix out of piano and guitar melodies straight from the beginning. The vocal is neat too, though I’d make it sound a bit more dry and less distanced.
Drop the arpeggiator sorta synth before the drums kick in.
Keep the piano pitch shifting in the break (1.21). First time I heard it, it was a little disturbing but after a second and third listen I started really to like it.
Sub feels really warm…do you use any plug to boost it apart from eq?
Sweet tune, instantly sucks you in with that piano. The beats are great, nice little glitches and stuff. The key change in there is not one you hear every day, kinda dissonant but it works really well. Infected Mushroom use to great effect. Mate I like this very much. I'm on my fifth time round lol.
With the piano break at 1.18, maybe change the piano sound to that old, gramophone sound until the drums come back in again..
Officially reviewing, although i gave some views on the unfin version on aim.
I agree with Gregg, at least make it a bit more of an organic sound (the arp), because that what most of the sounds are here, natural sounds. Not a big problem though.
The rest is pure amazing. I liked the key change, didn't throw me off, i dont understandwhat other people are saying. Whatever. Guitar adds a great touch, and only makes it better. I honetly dont see any major problems with this track, but bump up the bass a bit.
Great job, you just keep getting better, and im glad you have finally found a style, along with Binary.
Keep at it bro, stay in touch!

hi Ethan
always look forward to hear what composition u come up with! really nice melodies here - u never dissapoint on that end
beat is nice n punchy u got that amen to crunch through nicely and it works with the arrangement imo (hard beats vs all the other musical elements - nice!
)
lots of little change ups maybe more reverb on the vocal and possibly a little bit of delay?
Still thoroughly enjoyed this one, you're definately finding ur style and identity as a producer
I like what you've done to this since my last review.
You've definitely beefed up the beats. The only thing I'd do to them now would be to add some more stereo panning and also increase the lows and mid lows. They still need a little more beef and presence. Still good tho.
Actually, if you wanted to go for a different style of beats, try using some live-sounding samples and loops. The glitchy style of beats are good but they can sound a bit too mechanical next to those natural, film-score style instruments.
The melodies are absolutely stunning. The vocals fit like a gloove. They still remind me of Bjork, whom I absolutely adore.
I can hear a drony, stringed instrument in the background which sounds out of key. Listen at 0.58 to see what I mean. I'd simply remove that.
A heavier bassline would be good because it's pretty quiet atm. I suspect some of the bass (and overall quality) has been lost from the original MP3 after uploading it to this website. I remember the original bass sounding better and louder than this.
Very good comrade. Btw, don't worry about finishing this one on your own, you did a good job of it.
It'd be nice to collab at some point tho.

Really an outstanding piece of music. My only complaint is that maybe the drums could stand to be brought down a bit in the mix. All the other elements are so lovely I'd like to hear them come through a bit more.
