Not really to fond of the pad intro, but the beats sound crisp as hell. Dig the bass but it clips alot, once it goes into the main drop. Dig it but for some reason the pad ruins it for me. Once it drops out and you get the synth stabs come in I dig that, you should drop the pad when it comes back in at 2:17ish cause the reece does enough for the build. Really good work in progress. IMO just work on the pad, and you will have a good tune
hi there. beat soundin nice i think some of the edits where u use the snare as a ghost cut the sustin on em sounds a tad messy but apart from that its workin
reece sound is cool 1:55 synth kinda seems out of place or is brought in too suddenly, the sub comes out here for a little bit which takes away some of the impact, structure in taht sens could be a bit more conventional
for me the reece and sub work well together and are the strongest elements of this track good work

Did you put a limiter on the actual bass channel and watch it the entire tune. It only clips coming in and going out of the drops not the whole time. I should have been a lil more specific I guess. And, about choosing monitors I have Mackie MK2's but its all about what you can afford, but dont just buy whatever you have money for it they are shit if you know what I mean....up to u
Yeah I like the bassline and the beats are pretty cool, punch along very nicely indeed. The dissonant pad is seriously jarring my brain, I'd say either get rid of it, or find chords that work better than the ones you've got there. Nice work for sure, but I reckon it could be improved.
