Hey dude the kick snares good! just the only thing that probably gets me is the bassline which you already mentioned you're having trouble with. I'm still having a bit of trouble to with my basslines. They're either too heavy and over riding or non existent so sorry I can't help ya but the idea is certainly very good in this track but one thing I'd change is the bassline itself and the shape of the bassline and have it wobble a bit to add more variety.
Yea I'm still new to this EQing stuff only been doing it for a couple of months.
ez again mate. try not to get tooo obsessed with what hz ur sounds are hitting at, also make sure u rely on ur ears!
i only started using spectral analysers since my last tune and ofcourse they are important but end of the day its better to go by ur ears as opposed to numbers
(but ofcourse there are general guidlines just balance it out hehe)
so anyways basic advice on bass eq would be have ur sub then see what frequencies its hitting, cut a "hole" in the sub where ur kick hits (eg 80 - 100hz) and see if there are any resonant peaks eg above 110 and cut those out to leave space. for your mid bass just cut the low end out so theres space for the sub simple
so ur tecnically ur sounds are getting better and better good work
i actually like this one - quite a jumpy number and the edits are really cool too
snare sounds nice a little hissy (is that white noise? turn it down a tad so theres a bit more focus on the lower end)
think the tune wuld be arrangeed into a more coherent idea (ideas are good just need to gel / flow better thats all)

To get a good sub and good mid you shouldn't eq 1 bass sound in some magical way, just use 2 bass sounds, 1 for sub which you low-pass under 80Hz and a mid bass (which is there already for now) which you hi-pass at 150-200Hz, that way you leave enough room for your kick and snare to hit.

Hmm, not bad but I'm not feeling it tbh. Doesn't flow well enough and the main sections don't smash hard enough. But the programming is pretty tight and this is definitely an improvement for you. So well done for that. There isn't a great deal wrong with the EQing side of things either. I'd agree with Ketz's comment tho. Take Battle's advice with the bass. Keep improving dude.

safe everyone for the advice-ye ketz, totally agree mate.recently i have been focusing more on numbers than wot it actually sounds like!neways-na, no white noise, 3 snares 1mid-1lo-1hi.since postin this track i have mixed the lo snare in more an turnt down the hi 1 n it sounds better already-cheers 4 that!
nice 1 battledrone that is the exact answer i was lookin for!i thought there might've been a smart way to eq 1 b-line so that the sub n mid is phat without interferin wiv drumz but since postin this tune i have tryed a tune under your advice(eq'in wise) n everything is standing out better n sounds a lot crisper-thanks a lot mate!
