Button Basher and Jon1st present DROP: a new beats night in the UPSTAIRS of Leicester's FIREBUG venue on Millstone Lane! Our focus is to provide a night of head nodding beats from a variety of genres ranging from hiphop to drum and bass.
Jon1st and Tim Pagewill be djing throughout the night playing the sounds of acts such as:
Danny Breaks, Cut Chemist, Noisia, DJ Krush, Megasoid, Rodney P, DJ Format, Spor, DJ Shadow, Portishead, DJ Vadim, Mobb Deep, Lack of Afro, The Pharcyde, Mr Thing, Break, Prefuse 73, Tricky, Amon Tobin, Mos Def, The Heliocentrics, Roots Manuva, Boxcutter, Pharoah Monch, Bonobo, RJD2, Sixtoo, Unkle, Tippper and many many more all served with a healthy dose of scratching and turntable trickery!
Unfortunately Button Basher has pulled out due to illness but we have organized an assortment of guest DJs to provide a night of eclectic beats!
You'll also have the chance to grab some limited advance copies of mixtapes on the night.
