Good style exercise, but the track could do with more original elements. Bass needs some sub to get it humming nicely. Drums sound too highpassed to have any impact, the kick should really knock and that amen snare should bite.

right - intro, quite mysterious i like it haha cool vocal could do with some more elements / fx to build the tension more
beat comes in slightly abruptly and sounds a bit thin as its only a choped up amen (nicely chopped up
) but defo needs layering - main kick, main snare and some shuffles to compliment the edits u got goin. so basically just beef it up all round
structure doesn't flow too well, also i would suggest u get a nice phat sine sub bass underneath the whole thing, really needs some presence on the lower frequencies
i like the ideas, i'm sure u'll keep on improving so keep at it and look forward to your next tune!
peace

good start mate-u got the layout to a good tune there-wicked vocal sample b4 the drop-do think everything needs to be a lot phatter tho. wiv the amen break i wud try layering 1 phat kik n 1 phat snare either in a basic rythm or exactly on the points whre there is a kik or snare in the amen break (if that makes sense) n u will see(hear!) the difference, then i wud experiment wiv sum hats n percussion.-hope that helps.big-up

Not to keen on the intro, but thats taste mate. Like your drums, but they need cleaning up a touch and bringing forward. Bit quiet and muffled. Your pads sound like they are clipping a bit, but they are to loud really.
You need to bring the sub forward a touch. Bit of eqing there mate
Nice intro, I like the pad, although it's very much forward in the mix.. turn it down? add reverb? The Amen is nicely engineered, I love the oldskool feel of it! This is the nicest processed Amen break (pattern wise) I've heard in a while so well done on that mate! It does need a little drive behind it. I'm not sure how you did it but if there is a drive option in your sampler.. Crank it up! As for sub, why not grab your bassline and copy paste it down an octave or two, just to get a rumble on. I'd say when it drops aswell, it needs a little "air" or atmosphere other than what is there. Maybe add another element/pad, quite far back in the mix. Excellent work tho mate!
