have you tried experimenting with making basic wobbles? its pretty straight forward, i normally use a simple sine sub bass, lfo to filter and just sync the lfo and adjust the lfo rate and amount to the desired effect (and automate it if u like to get different variations on the wobble)
on his bass lines zen use's a bit of reverb to make em sound fatter. dont over do it tho cos it will sound wet. also he make's his sub b lines very very heavy
