thought I might as well upload this, finished it a while ago, now its not perfect as I've sent it off for a final mixdown and master so there may be a few bits that need attention.
fingers crossed this will be my 1st release, i will confirm details when its all finalized

You should be proud of this mate because it's super good. Definitely worthy of a release.
Apart from a few sound quality issues, this could be a pro tune. The builds-ups, breakdown, intro and drops would work great on a dance floor.
OK, about the sound quality issues. The whole tune is lacking a bit of power. It sounds a little muffled and restrained. Maybe it's the type of compression you're using? The snare is particularly thin. It should sound like a Pendu snare with lots of bottom-end thud.
I guess your mastering engineer - Jimmy? - will probably sort these issues out. He's very good at that sort of thing is our Jim.
The bass edits in this are excellent mate. Really impressive. Keeps the whole thing interesting, even tho it's essentially the same bassline throughout most of the tune.
Beats roll nicely. Maybe some more action on the hi hats would help tho. Maybe some rides too?
Like I said, this is a super tune. Hope it gets signed!

Well, you already know my opinion on this track mate!
Maybe its just personal taste but the drums could do with just a little more power/'fatness'?
Suppose that'll get fixed though.

First of all just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to listen
Tomos ur right it most likely is the compression - i (wrongly) had the reason default mastering suite on this version that has a limiter that has most likely caused the overall sound to not be as clear as it should, i exported all the audio into Cubase, without any master effects and its sounded so much better! had a lot more dynamics (i think that limiter sucked some of the life outta the snare)

To whoever decided it would be funny to give this the lowest vote possible (the one person who decided to give it 1s all the way) - u need to get a life, don't bother voting if ur vote is based purely on emotions - and tell me who you are as i won't bother reviewing ur tunes again, pretty damn ungrateful, i spend so much time listening to tunes on here and giving my most honest and constructive feedback and i get bashed in return. you are on the wrong site if u want peeps to tell u ur tunes are perfect, this is a producer support site for producers to use feedback to help get better!

Nah, just kidding mate, I don’t rate at all and I don’t think that it was someone that wanted particularly offend you or something.
For me this tune is deffo worth a 4,5 – 5 star rating and I’m quite sure the ones who already reviewed think the same way. And keep in mind that it’s not the stars that make a good tune and that a review counts so much more.
Oh yeah, as a review I can’t really add much. I’m quite impressed (actually didn’t expect to hear such a killer tune from you to be ultra honest
).

thanks Gregg, ur right, i don't normally get worked up about "how many stars" i have, i just got really annoyed today as someone purposefully went out their way to give this a 1 rating and not bother even saying why they did it - which gives me the impression they just trying to sabtoage my scores for whatever reason
but thanks again, mate! all i want is for my tunes to be heard!
ezy mate, this is a proper tune!! the intro is very kool and that vocal is wicked. im listening to it on a pair of dodgy bud headphones that i stole of my 7 year old son, at work on a laptop and it still sounds good.and thats the idea init to make it sound as good as poss in all enviroments and ive heard it before on your myspace whilst at home aswell and it sounded just as good. cant wait to hear it after the final master!!
and id like to say that the guy that gave you all 1's should be exposed. its obviously not the worst track anyone has ever heard, and the structure dosnt just jump around......maybe this guy cant read??? or maybe he's to lazy too i dunno.
i watched a film last night called "envy", it seems like this is a simular situation.
