Please check out my new track 'Acoustiks - Always Here To Put My Arms Around You (liquid Funk)' and post your comments here!
I hope you guys like this. I'd really, really appreciate some feedback. Thankyou! [:
I never ever have time anymore to review tracks. I'm going to try to review some music at school tomorrow and shit. The reason I'm saying this is because it isn't fair to you guys reviewing my trach. ..And you get like no review back.

There isn't enough liquid on this board. I liked some of your earlier work so it's nice to see a new track up. All ass-kissing asside, down to the track:
Very nice intro, good liquid feel. I think when the kick comes in it starts to drag a little, I would have the kick running a little less before the drop.
The little break before the drop is great, the drop is great as well.
Beats are pretty good but I think the snare could use beefing up a little.
I don't think the synth arp works at 2:15, I would cut it or make it less prominent. I think the little synth arps at the breakdown at 3:00 work much better, they're more understated and flow better.
I like the way the elements sift through at the breakdown, I think that the breakdown is a bit long though and mirrors the intro too much. The melody at the drop could be a bit more "epic," more vocals with the arps sitting behind rather than going in front. Some automated panning might be nice on the arps, or some sort of ping pong effect.
Ending is a bit abrupt, I think a trail off taking out different elements might work nicely.
Overall I like the feel of this and the basic melodies and chords are very solid. I think it could use a bit more polish in the arrangement and I wasn't a fan of some of the synth sounds, but overall this track has lots of potential and is very nice liquid material.

I also like the intro a lot. It has a very nice atmosphere. The drop is fine but i have to agree with Minas about the kicks before that. The beats are fine it rolls nicely but you could use more variation on that imo. That arp at 2:15 isn't bad but you should to bring back to the background. Anyway this track is quite good i like it

That sound ultraphat!
But I'm afraid this track will be a problem because of copyrighted samples.
Timing of vocals could be improved a bit.
Sounds a bit empty at times.
Smasher! You prove to be very signable!

This track has been removed because of copyright violation, it contained samples from Martin Billie Ray - Your Loving Arms.

As for the copyright violation, that involves all track with any sampled breakbeat too. They/we/I didn't get permission either... :/ If your going to remove my track, you'd have to remove most of the other ones do to sampling. |

Another thing you could do is tweak the vocal so we can't recognize it anymore
Use reverb, delay, chorus, filtering, vocoding, change the pitch,...
