Nice chilled out track. Really enjoyed making this one...puts a smile on your face! Hope u like it as much as I do. btw. that sax is a saxlab vst...should be recorded by my mate using a real sax in the future...
one of the best tracks ive heard on dnb.be
the sax is great, the drums are great and the sound fx's give it all a very modern feel.
the only bad thing i can say is that when the drums come in they seem to take summit away from the track, maybe it can be sorted with eq, or maybe lead in with a little crash cybal so its not as noticable, if ya get me.
anychance i could have download?
you got skills bro!!

yup, without doubt, you created a pretty amazing tune. the sax sounds very nice, i dont really know what to critisize here. only thing i dont like that much are the rhodes comin in at 2:10, but everyone to his taste
really sweet jazzy tune, well done.
Great intro, sounds really close to live instruments. A bit too much Dc-samplepack stuff though, everyone has them!
Weird twist in the tune around 2:08, not expected. Too many sounds on top of eachother in the main part.
Good sound quality.

And that means nobody should use them? I think the strength in the samplepack is the way you can combine the samples. You can make loads of songs from that pack..I love it. And to be honest I give a fuck that everyone knows it...
I really like that loungy rhodes, sounds like a good old shy fx to me :-)! also very good job on the subs! the only i would try, isto put a bit of a highpass filter over the sax to let it sound more like a lead-thing. The song gets brilliant around 2:07! Lots of respect for this one!
I have to agree with Battledrone. The tune is very sweet, no question. But it's a little heavy on the DC samples. There's no beef in using those samples of course because they are wicked, like you said. But they'd sound even better if you made them your own and put your own unique never-before-heard twist on them.
But as it is, this tune is very nice indeed. There are some EQing issues tho. For instance, the beats are definitely clipping. I think the bass is too. Simply turning down the overall mix a little might solve that. I know that sounds like heresy to many people, but it's no big deal because all the listener has to do is turn the volume up a notch. And hey presto, it's now just as loud as before but sounds better without the clipping.
Also, like Battle said, when the tune really gets going there's probably too many sounds and samples on top of each other. It muddies the mix quite a lot and takes away the clarity.
But yeah, I enjoyed this one a lot.
