well I haven't tried any myself, but I think with kicks and snares in particular its definately all about the samples you use, they are so noticeable in a dnb tune the initial sample needs to be good otherwise ur tune will sound shite so if you haven't got a few kick / snare samples that you're really happy with (recently i've found a few and use em in a lot of tunes as everything else sounds really amateurish) then
and get em! (if u can be arsed to spend the money that is mr moneyshot!
)

yeah man, I wish I had time for such things, its just so difficult to get any time to make music so i focus mainly on composing and experimentnig makin crazy sounds (more the 1st rather than the latter tho
)
This one looks pretty good, although I haven't really tried it. I'm not really satisfied with any of the samples I have right now. It gets annoying when you spend a lot of time processing one sample sound just to have it come out sounding like a shiny turd. Can somebody here vouch for one of these packs?
i bought the vengence pack recently, most of the sounds are complete shite but the drums are amazing, really clean and the snares are top notch...repulsive is a good pack, some nice pads and bass in that, david carbone masterclass is good too, some really nice breaks in that.

Word on the carbone breaks man, top notch but rinsed to fucking death now. Vengeance hits are really v good too snares wicked.....try pitch shifting some of the kicks cos yeah they are a bit deep house for dnb usage...had some decent results from doin that

Good to know .. I'm good on breaks.. Looking for high quality recordings of kicks, snares, all cymbals and just percussion in general ..
I have a copy of the nu-tone one. It is actually pretty good. I don't actually use the loops as such. I tend to nick element of them and make my own. Don't know how much it is to buy, but it was worth the download
