Nice reply. Although true, if you'll allow me to go slightly oot, formulaic isn't always the way to go - after all aren't we (well, not everyone, else we'd always be in a state of flux) supposed to be pushin' boundaries and experimenting?

Not that I'm advocating piles of reverb Big Grin


yes that is true... i mean look at disco dodo
but still, loads of reverb doesnt sound good with standard nu skool dnb, like u said, and a lot of the formulas are there for a reason u kno? by all means push boundaries but if it doesnt work then u need to change something
