Straight out the gate, new imprint Dangerous New Age brings some heavy sounds to the scene. Kicking things off is Task Horizon's Uman on the A-side, with a floor stomper by the name of ''Self Medication''. This tune blends the anthemic sounds of quality dancefloor destroyers with the techier-style, boasting crisp drums and an undeniable bassline, all traveling at breakneck speed. ''Dragon Scroll'' pits Rico & Scoop together, attacking the beats with more of that twisted bass pressure. This cut brings in a bit more of the throwback techfunk, but still has that neuro-sheen that will work well on a number of different nights. Big things are planned for this label, so treat this 001 as a warning!
