Please check out my new track 'Kindred' and post your comments here!

If you hear it you can probably hear the effort i made for this track!

I use cubase sx3.0

Im still working on the mix and need some comments on where the mix needs more power and clarity.

Let me know what you guys think on every level of the track.

Your efforts really are audible, sounds good!
Mids could use a tad more power to make those melodic elements shine a bit more. In the main part the sub could be more present. The snare is a bit too floppy, could be spiced up too (layer something with good punch).
Love this style of tune! It could use a dirty edge (some roaring bass stabs and a vocal maybe).

Nice track man has a fair bit of depth with melodies and background noise. Also progresses nicely throughout the breakdown. The drum beat seems a little empty, feels like its lacking a bit of pace. But overall nice track.

Your right, its because the cutoff frequency is so low that the sound got pushed back to the background. The sub is also not present like the first part of the song. Thanks

Really the snare is floppy? I will see what can be done to the snare.

Thanks for the props. I was actually thinking for the main part having some bass stabs there, but i couldnt put it there in the process and felt the reece bass was sufficient.

Nice quality sound mate.

When it kicks in, I thought I was listening to some 80's pop song. No offence ;D

Very trancey mate. Not really my style, but it is well done. I can imagine that kick drum hurting on a big rig.

Nice mate.

EZ

Quite a nice groove to this, nice beats, cymbals totally overused though.

Main melody gets a bit stale after a while

Liked the 2nd drop but thought the tune could've gone in a different direction after that instead of going back to the original melody.

Like the bass work.
