I definatley rate this track for origonality and depth of melody, especially for a dnb tune. But it only seems to have a cinematic appeal to it, i couldn't see a tune of this style being played out. From what you wrote that seems your intention so nice work!

I quite expected a track like this to hear when I saw you posted something.
I’m impressed by the composition and the beautiful sounds being used, especially the piano!
Sub feels warm and good, nice structure and transitions!
Amen break isn’t such a bad choice, fits well. Though it could be more dominant, bit punchier and also more hi-endy imo!
Oh, and you could go a more crazy with your programming actually. I mean it is already funky, but a tad more variation wouldn’t be bad.
Yeah, nothing else to complain about I guess.
Good work!

You have some impressive talents on the piano! This is a tune in style of Aphex Twin, but it is very nice and friendly whereas I had hoped for some dirty edge. I agree with the cinematic aspect of it, it ain't dancefloor material "as is" but I can imagine that with the right remix it could be BIG. You seem to prefer to add as little samples to the tune as possible (vocals and stuff). That's ok, but the tune would definitely benefit from some extra elements. Good work!

As a piece of music this is absolutely beautiful, imo. Really, really stunning melodies, especially the closing melodies. This is also an improvement from an earlier version I listened to, so well done for that. The amen breaks seem to be louder. And the bass seems bigger too. Also, you have EQed some of the low frequencies from the strings? They seem much clearer now. I would agree with Battle that a few extra elements in this tune would be beneficial. It almost sounds too classical to be a dnb tune. A synth or two would be good I reckon. But overall, I think this is pure sweetness.

hi, lovely peice of music. but i dont like it as a dnb tune if im being honest.
maybe if you used the piano and strings as an intro and then went a bit darker but at the min it just sounds like a break layered over someone elses track. not sayin its someone elses track btw!!
piano was really moving tho.

Thanks a lot for all the responses. I wasn't sure how a track like this would be taken but I'm glad that everyone's open-minded to it.
I understand where everyone's coming from with critiques and will keep them in mind for my next track or a possible remix of this one.

Wow! Definatly a film score really.
Drums sound a bit back in the mix.
Some reason, the track sound like it is clipping slightly, but it might be my set up.
Very nice though.

beautiful intro man, orchestral is the bomb for strings....maybe a bit more sense of space would intensify it, more panning of different instruments etc, but still really impressive stuff....amen is kinda quiet when it comes in...needs boosting a little, nice edits and arrangment, maybe a layered kick and snare over the top of the amen would beef it up and make it more dominant......not really sure whether the chilled melodies fit the frantic amen, they work well as seperate elements...amen is well programmed and the strings etc are well composed, dont really fir together imo.....good stuff tho!

so finally i write my first review here caus this track totally got me man...
such a great melody that makes me fly so high, reflecting all things i've seen in my life
nice choice with the drums but they could have burn my eyes a little more with small reverb but much louder i think, so that the sample doesnt pushes to the front... let the drums dominate dancers feelings sometimes
but all i can say is this:
wonderful

EZ buddy
Been meaning to review for a while, bit late sorry
Beautiful melodies, brilliant programming, beat could be a little crisper and upfront but still works well.
Generally great, certainly the best tune you've posted here and a direction that really suits your style
