Please check out my new track 'Reoccurring Nightmares' and post your comments here!
We pitched the last edit, corrected the mixdown flaws and changed the name; here is the new version. I recorded my vocals with our Edirol R-09 (24 bit recorder) Please leave a comment and let us know what you think and what needs improving. If you want to RMX it please let us know. Cheers.
Lyrics-
-Dreams eat away inside of your mind
-Can't stop the dreams if you tried
-Dreams devourer every bit of your soul
-You dreams have gone out of control
-You Can't stop your dreams
-Your dreams...
I haven't yet listened to your previous version, so I'm coming at this tune fresh...
Once the tune gets going it turns into punk 'n' bass (which is no bad thing). The melody is good. I would always be tempted to layer a guitar on top of a riff like that (I use Slayer 2), particularly as the mix sounds slightly thin and not fat enough. A low distorted guitar could fill that part of the spectrum.
The vocals are ok but I'm not wild about them, despite being a fan of hardcore metal and punk. They'd be better if they had some kind of melody behind them.
Beats are nice. Well EQed. The rides are a real nice touch.
Production and sound-quality wise this is top notch as usual from you.

hi there
dark shizzle! combo works for me, screaming distorted vocals vs amen!
all the fx are cool, production quality is nice, think u could have more energy on the drums, possibly another more rollin layer in there just to really get more movement and make it more frantic (on the parts where u don't use the amen)
lol, was playing with the sample pack for your track raise some hell about 10 mins ago....nice intro, good atmos, like the industrial drums, real gritty, urban and dark....build up is awesome but the drop is a bit dissapoiting, drums dont have enough energy imo, little amen fills work well but the drums defo need to be more upfront with more mid range activity....bass doesn't stand out enough either, nice low end but not enough distortion and grit to make it stand out enough....the industrial sections are awesome and the atmos and pads are immense and feel like their building uo some really filthy spor style madness....some nice drums variations throughout too...not too keen on the vocal tbh, doesn't seem t fit too well imo but i guess its a matter a taste....nice track overall, intro is top notch, real good stuff there, jus a bit of an anti-climax on the drop....real potential tho...
