I greatly edited this song. I also found out that it does follow a scale. So it has a key. I uploaded this to another site that would have told me that it was of key but it isn't. I think that it isn't anyway. I am trying to learn music theory on my own but most examples are confusing to me. I did find something called scale tool to help me with staying in a scale to stay on key.

Pretty good but the main synth isn't heavy enough imo. It doesn't have enough bite and roughness. I'd layer it with a saw wave and some distortion. Or a reese and distortion.
Beat patterns fit the melodies well, although they are quite basic. Deffo sounds more like rock beats, than dnb (no bad thing).
A vocal or two during the main parts would sound good in this.

pad in the intro sounds a little bear, maybe a layered pad playing the same notes a semitone lower would beef em up...drums could use more bite and energy to em, sound a little weak at the mo, more mid layers, main kick and snare stand out well tho....some nice fx and atmos throughout give a moody feel, vocoder part works well too....not keen on a few of the drum edits tbh, dont flow very well....structure and arrangment isnt too bad but could be worked on a bit....i reckon the main bass could use a bit of boosting too to give a bit more edge, sub is nice and deep tho, keeps the low end flowing.....not a bad track overall, really needs more energy tho...
