Here is another Hard-Core DnB tune we have been working on. The synths are all "Access Virus TI" recorded sounds. We went heavy on the distortion. I recorded my vocals with our Edirol R-09 (24 bit recorder) Please leave a comment and let us know what you think and what needs improving. If you like the tune and want to RMX it please let us know. Cheers.
Lyrics-
-Dreams eat away inside of your mind
-Can't stop the dreams if you tried
-Dreams devourer every bit of your soul
-You dreams have gone out of control
-You Can't stop your dreams
-Your dreams...
Overall, I like it. Dark, heavy and weird!
I think the vocals are a little loud in places, as are some of those scary industrial sounding FX.
Is it a compression issue? The kick seems to be a little loud in a few places too.
Also, the kick drum doesn't seem to match the rest of the track.
The distortion seems to have added a lot of top end and the beats seem a tad tinny in places but I can't comment much on EQ issues with these tiny speakers o' mine.
While it certainly sounds menacing I might cut back just a teensy bit on some of the distortion in places, or maybe just even out the levels a bit.
I do like this sound though, real nasty feel!

Thanks for the review, we went back and listened and found the un-even vocals and drum segments that were too loud. We appreciate the listen, we will post the new edit soon enough! Cheers.
