After his national radio appearance on 28/04/2008 (StuBru, Jungle Fever) our very own Soi got played in Baselab last week (StuBru, dubstep and grime show)!
Congrats Soi! Keep 'm comming!

haven't got contacts, but i know Murdock for a long time, and recently got to know Cal who's one of the two hosts of the Baselab show (every monday after Jungle Fever from 23-24h on Studio Brussel).

Baselab replaces the second hour of Jungle Fever, monday night 23-00
If you haven't connections on the inside it seems impossible to get played on stubru.
One would expect them to play some national talents more often or?
They don't get any further than the occasional Alix Perez and Whizz&Daze (although they never mention that they are Belgian).
Stubru has a history of dissin' or ignoring own talent. They skipped the whole New Beat era in favour of some singer/songwriters. Now they start playing new beat tunes on their weekend shows and call them "hard to find classics". The arrogance!
Good thing Soi got there (btw, they called him "swa" 
I know he hates that).
