Heres a preview of a song Benx and i are working on. Looking for general feedback, but focusing on bassline and sound suitablity (if that makes any sense).

Bassdrum needs more bang (around 90-100Hz) to push through that mean bassline. Snare sounds a bit weird after 0:33", I can clearly hear the layering of the sounds you used, the snare itself sounds a bit wimpy, needs more power.
Not in love with the pads from the intro, might sound better with a tweak or even a different sound.
This has potential, but I would have liked it if the intro was left out and you would have demonstrated more bass work instead.

Not sure bout the break in the 1st part of the intro - seems at bit pointless to me, maybe give it a bit of filter automation or something to generate a bit of movement and interest. Nice atmospherics though

beat programmin is good, snare a bit high pitched n fizzy for my liking
main part sound muffled maybe cut some more low end off that bass. and do the same with the kik cause it is way to boomey.
once you sort them out and eq it, i reck that main part will be great.
I'm not entirely sure if the intro matches the rest of the track.
I like the sound (the background pad) but it doesn't seem to marry up with the beats.
Also, I think the beats need a bit more... oomph?
I like the rhythm it's just it seems it could do with maybe a little distortion on the kick+snare or something?
The bassline, however, I love. I think perhaps that it's too phat for the beats at the moment! (see previous point)

beat in the intro is ok for me, could use more movement definately
like the filtered bass, nice n twisted boys haha and feelin the change ups, nice im listening i think u could make the intro darker to build the tension for that drop
get some more layers on the beat, that one break sounds a bit looped.
all said really like the direction this is heading in - make sure u let us hear the finished version!
