oooh more BH material - nice!! Big Grin

yeah man feelin the intro - wicked combination of the dreamy pads / fx with the neuro bassline - boh!

strong melody with the bassline when it drops- nice work, beats nice n choopy as per ur usual, 2:15 mwam synth bass is heavy too Big Grin

nice production this and not so in ur face which is great imo - i like the direction you've been heading in recently man - melodic, atmospheic and yet very technical productions - so big ups for that! Bigup

my only critique i suppose if i dug hard enough would be the structure at points could flow a tad better as u have so many mad fx etc its hard to keep the listener locked down on the one main idea, eg when the first bass drops it comes as a slight surprise the melody as before u only have the mad fx so could possibly work at hinting on that bass melody before it drops (like subtly hi pass it or filter it in or whatever just so u know whats comin)

wicked stuff mr havoc!!!

peace

I love the intro. Lots of tension building there. The buildup to the drop is great, the LFO synced synth works very well.

Nice floating pads all around. You do a really good job of creating little cues around the track that hold the melody out above the pads.

I like the little breakdown at 3:00. It's hard to believe the track is half over at that point. Everything is definitely kept interesting.

I really like the new style you're working out, and the mixdown sounds beautiful with a great stereo image. Good work.

Intro is kinda long and since rhythmic elements are missing it doesn't build up any tension.
The evolving pads are nice, but a tad on the harsh side, it would have been great if they would offer a bit extra warmth an harmonics. Main part, drums disappoint a bit because they are quite smashing in contrast with the dreamy intro and they could roll more. The overall story could be outlined a bit more clear, again the tension building is not "bad" enough for my taste.
There, a lot of negative shizzle, but all with best intentions and constructive I hope.

Excellent melodies throughout, really enjoyed this one. Beats are EQed slightly better than your usual standard. The kick and snare punch through the mix nicely. The only thing which slightly lets this down is the amount of hiss and swush during the big parts. There needs to be more 'bite' and clarity. That would probably require looking at each element in the mix - particularly the pads - and reducing some of the reverb and increasing the mids and possibly adding a tiny bit of distortion to them. Great tune tho.

Very nice, I like it.

The drums are ok, well equalized. The variation is good, there is nothing much to improve on that part.

The bassline is also very good, sounds wide and good. Maybe you could consider rising a little bit the subbass? I'm not sure if that would make it sound better, but you could try to see.

The lead is pretty good, not specially outstanding, but nothing to complain, sounds good enough.

But the background effects, and those atmospheric pads really sound good. I mean very very good.

I also heard voices in the background, I would bring them up a bit. Try to add a high pass filter to them and raise the volume a bit, you might like it.

Overall, it is a very good track!

Congrats,

Sundancer.

Hi there,

Intro builds nice at first, but there are too many faux drops for my liking. Drums need some work, they sound a bit weak. Everyone has this problem though. Drums are always the hardest things to get right for me, and i'm still no better than you are. Try layering your break with some different hits. Your snare could do with some more snap and a little less low end. The synths are ok but a little to trancey/cliche and predictable for me. Atmospherics are good but are playing for too long. Maybe think of a section where the bass really stands out without the atmos in the background. Good luck!

i like the intro and the drop before the main part is wicked, its very laid back sounding in the main part witch isnt my taste but its kool still.

love the vocals in there you sat them perfect with the rest of the track. the sythn melodys are very kool aswell. infact im likin this more every time i listen.

just imo needs more punch.

i just read tomos review, and the thing he mentions about the hiss is probaly what i was on about it takes away summit from the track.
