Right....

Heres the low down.... hope someone can help....

As some of you may know im apart of The Mutant DJs... we have been thinking about moving over to Ableton for a little while... after being told by Keith from Prodigy that its going to be perfect for what we want to do....

Anyway.....

We currently run 2 pairs of decks through a mixing desk.... (Yamaha 01X)..... which we have each pair decks running on a seperate channel..... this then gets fed into Logic where we do live sampling and FX overlays.....

We found Logic is a bit difficult to do this with.... and sometimes find that the FX loading onto a track in a live situation makes the audio feed glitch a bit.....

Well... we are now going to incorporate a MPC 1000 into this so that we can punch live sample stabs and also create live drum loops from the sampled tracks.....

So basicly what i want to know is....

Will Ableton be suitable for this type of stuff?
Does it have the power not to stall or glitch when running live?
Are you able to sample... cut.... and drop the end product quick and easy?
Are the FX easy to drop in and play with immediatly?
Can you sample from the two tracks running into Ableton at the same time?
Can you view the live feed of the audio wave of both tracks?

i dont fully understand how you wanna do it with the stabs and the drum loops but you should be fine.
