i made this track cus i was trying to get the hang of the thor in reason and love the phase on this synth and have been trying to get this sound for ages. im going to do another tune with the same intro with a darker them in the future so look out for that one. its only 3mins 40secs. this tune is free on my myspace for anyone who likes it. cool track, maybe a bit too much stereo in the synths, some good sounds i'd probs make the bass sounds a bit grittier an more distorted, but it does sound good. 1:47 sounded a bit bare, all the sounds apart from the drums seemed to dissapear and it kinda lost impact. wikid intro very epic, i like the flow of the drums too. nice 1.

Intro sounds impressive, but it also sounds sampled. Trancy arps and dreamy movie soundtracks, it's kinda weird, especially when that tearing bass comes in. For my taste the intro would fit better into dreamy liquid stuff. But I'm not saying that what you did is bad. Tune flows nicely, good choice of sounds, melodies sit nice, good drums. Tune loses tension in the > 2:10 area. Stereo image is a bit overdone, the whole thing is phasing a bit which makes it lose power.

ez mate, epic kinda feel to the intro, personally i think the choir would go better with some dirty reece action as opposed to the arp, but thats my taste (so i'll be lookin out for that darker one u gna do in future

intro is cool, the beats arnt hitting hard enuff tho
maybe work on the kik and snare. good structure all the way thru. a bit to mellow for me bro but thats just me.
Looove the vibes in the intro. Seriously sweet melodies (although not perfect). I love the way the bass gradually creeps in. But when it drops, the track loses some of the tension that was built-up during the intro. The bass doesn't sound loud or powerful enough to me and there is too much stereo panning too. There seems to be a distinct lack of low-mid growl from the bassline.
The melodies during the breakdown are niiice. Love that section.
Beats are decent enough. Nicely EQed and there's some cool background bongo shit going on there.
Overall, a good track. The melodies are great but the whole thing needs a bigger and more powerful sound.

ya see, this is why i love reason, if your running reason and pushing pads like this then your tune is gonna say something. i like it, the build up neat and it breaks in just at the time. The only thing i can suggest is that(agree to disagree) the bass line... i would love to hear a heavy bassline on this one i.e like a bukem bass, but your style if you know what i mean, but the tune is fat you got a lot going on with it. This is the fifth time i have heard it. I'm learning off it....peace : ,

nevertheless theres some really really cool sounds in this, love what you do with the synths. the drums are nice too, if it were my tune I'd pitch em down a bit
the "end" screams for a full blown 2nd drop..
