Please check out my new track 'Screw Loose' and post your comments here!
This is a track that i finished about a week ago. My partner in crime Mistic mixed the break and levels down on his monitors. theres still afew sounds that are to low. Again made in reason. dr-rex for drums percs and the trance sound at the start. hats cymbals ect.. in a re-drum. the windy atmospheric i done on a subtractor. same with the tecky sound that goes with the bass. the darkside and the cheeky sounding synth that bounces off it were samples i manipulated in an nn19. used alot of screams. assorted fx samples just to help lead the tune. hope you enjoy it! give us some feedback! let me know what u .be guys think.
At the start I thought that this comercial trance sound would really ruin everything, but when all the cards are on the table it fits in really well. Nicely done. The intro builds up very good and although it is quite long (1:50) it isn't boring.
Mixdown sounds nice, well EQed. Enough variation.
Nothing really negative to say

Not bad bro, not really my style, but that's just creative difference. I would say that the drums could some more splash... and not necessarily the snare, but like make a splashy ride on quater notes eq'd at 8khz and above? I feel it gives it that nutty sensation, it really fills out the sound (even in dubstep). Maybe it's just my computer or my headphones... but at first listen that's what I heard.

"Clownstep is a derisory term, used by certain listeners to describe a certain style in a negative way, it's not a subgenre as such, but most producers would feel insulted by the labelling of their music as "clownstep"."
