Please check out my new track '& Krisch - The Sorrow' and post your comments here!
ez dotbe! Here's something that me and Krisch put together a while back, all done on Reason 4. Something I started off when i was feeling a bit down (wrote some sad kinda pads lol), sent it off to Krisch and we just built this up step by step, a few sleepless nights on msn sending 5 sec clips to each other arguing about reverb on 1 synth and snares - damn snares! lol but we're both happy with the end result.
Big thank you to:
-Binary Havoc for sending me some Reason reece patches which i took apart and rebuilt from scratch really helped my understanding of creating these sounds from scratch, which i in turn bounced and messed around with for some twisted shizzle in a sampler.
-Ghost for one of the basses in the intro (refer to the Menace Bass thread in the forums!)
-All thebe folks who gave us advice when this was 1/2 finished
-Muad Dib for the final master - really brought all the sounds out and helped turn this into a finished product
me and Krisch were both really pleased with what he did so thanks again mate!
hope you enjoy it! something probably a bit different from what u guys have heard from me and Krisch on here before, vocals all me on the mic
all comments, suggestions etc welcome!

I had to endure about 10 various stages of Sorrow. - (or more possibly)
They all lost on me HD somewhere now though haha !
Thank god !
I've heard this tune so many times since the first edit ...
It's definitely changed style and progressed alot since the first take ...
That much I can tell you for free - ( the rest will cost you as they say )
I didn't think it fair to vote due to the line up for the whatsit.
well you know what I have to say, but ima say it again......COTDAMN!
10 out of 10 times this track is the bees knees!!!
good work the both of youts and master dib

Excellent work boyos, this is great. The whole thing is very well put together, especially the melodies. I'm still loving your vocals Ketz... or should that be "Keith"?
For some reason tho, this final remastered version is sounding a little thinner compared to the earlier versions I listened to? (Most noticeably on the kick and snare). But yeah, it's still sounding very good. Did I already mention how well the melodies are put together? Excellent.
Can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. Love it.

.....holy shit. If ever I produce anything as good as this ever in my life ever. I will be very happy. There is nothing I can criticise here. Sick vocals. Sick beat. Well done.
Really atmospheric, great piano. Own vocals = nice.
The snare sounds a bit hissy (could do with a tad more low end). Nice mystical feel to the tune.
I find the middle part to be somewhat repetitive and the sub is a bit on the low side so the impact of it all is limited. At 4:28 I get a little Pendulum feel from what I'm hearing. It seems like you have a sub and a high mids bass and no low mids going on around that time, that really takes out a lot of power.
It is clearly audible that a lot of work went in to this and it is very succesful as a collab-tune.
Keep them comming guys!

When Ketz and Krisch addressed me about the mastering, I thought they really had something good going on that needed polishing. And boy was I right!
Tried my best there, and I am really glad they liked it (and you too). I personally love the tune, and that's why I asked Ketz and Krisch for permission to play this one on sets on some of my parties.
Way to go folks!

hi guys - wow i'm really glad that overall you all felt this one, good to see that me and Krisch's hard work all paid off! (and those sleepless nights! lol)
BD - mate you've got good ears!!
Tomos yeah the snare was tamed a bit in the master, if u remember it was a bit too loud in the premaster version..
Finally Senty thank you I know u heard the most versions of this tune time and time again - big ups mate!!!
Ofcourse Krisch it would be an honour for Muad to play this out, the more ears this reaches the better - spread the music!!
