i need it to be .............

BTW IMO every DAW should have a pitch control feature built into it.

I just use the pitch wheel on my midi keyboard or you can automate it too.

What DAW(s) you using again !?

Ok man sorry there ain't nothing on them sites.

I use Reason myself but have SX3 just for fucking around with z3ta & massive more than anything.

Why not get yourself a copy of Reason 4 and ReWire with your Cubase !!?

Just an idea seeing as you said you were thinking of converting in another thread I think !?

Audiodemons latest track the thread methinks.

Most Vst's have pitch control on them as well don't they ?

How much is pitch wheel ?

Torrent it ?

Simple enough !!!

That I do not know.

I use Reason more than anything and don't really bother with ReWire too often - sometimes more often than not it's easier to just export and bounce samples from one DAW to the other.

I do know however that Reason is always classed as the SLAVE when ReWire'n.

Im sure that you cant control anything in cubase with reason because it works only as rewire slave as Sentinel said.

Pitch automation in cubase works just exactly the same way as it does in reason

Its just that reason has built in on board instruments and in cubase you have to use vsti's

eg load a sample into an NN19 sampler in reason and you can automate the pitch using the relevant controller number

In cubase you'd have to use a vst sampler like Kontakt or shortcircuit in which you can automate the pitch in exactly the same way

You cant however load a wav straight into an audio channel in cubase and automate pitch over time, at least not very easily

The same applies to reason apart from the fact that you can't even load a wav straight into an audio track in reason

Reason will always win the day for me in this case as it is just so simple to achieve a good result but the operation is just as viable in cubase

Yeah man I wouldn't mind learning a bit more about Cubase.

I've got a tutorial DvD laying around me room somewhere for SX3 version.

Have to dig it out.

Failing that I've found someone on myspaz while spamming for advertising purposes for [SUB]Lime Recordings.

I'm a see if we can get the wee bugger to join up here or 174 and share some wisdom.
