EZ
Remix of this tune by Nick and Erina Z
Had a bunch of fun remixing this tune so thanks to Nick and Erina for letting me have a crack at it.
Added some additional orchestral bits and went rock organ crazy in the intro
All your comments welcomed and appreciated as usual, particularly with reference to how you think it works as a remix -Did I stray too far from the original etc etc
Respect to the dotbe heads

Nice intro. I like the organ. You should to bring it back with the drums and the bass. It would be cool imo. I dont like the drop its just exist i think. It have to be more interesting. The beats are punchy enough but the snare could have a bit more hi-end. The 2nd drop is much better than 1st. The bass sounds cool. You take out the male vocals what i didnt like so much in the original version.
On a remix i like if you can recognize the original but it has different atmosphere. So this track works fine as a remix for my mind.
Good work, keep it up

BH,
I like the additions to the intro, such as the cymbal pattern and the cello. The organ is great.
I don't think the drop flows too well. The beats are very solid and punchy, but the bass sounds a bit smothered. I think it needs a bit more hi frequencies.
I really like the pads that fade in, definitely characteristic of your style.
Nice beat edits all around.
Second drop is much more successful IMO, I like the interplay between the reese and the high melody. I also like the call and response between the bass and the vocals.
Nice little melodies, you're able to float a lot of different riffs around without cluttering the piece.
I may be getting a bit spoiled by some of the work you've put up lately as I expected the ending to be more epic. I think it could easily do with an extra minute of subtle pad builds... what you have sounds like the beginning of a really solid buildup before the outro.
I think this works well as a remix, all the additions add to the piece while remaining subtle enough to retain the original feel. Also your sounds have a unique flavor that definitely comes out in this track.
Good work, looking forward to your next installment.

The intro is a bit long and repetitive, I don't think the organ thing works tbh.
Main part has good drums, vocals fit well. The sub is a bit lifeless.
Mixdown needs a bit extra sparkle and a tad reverb to make it all sound less dry.

Good shit. I actually like the rock organ melody... I kinda expected some 70's rock riff to kick in.
Yeah, the mixdown is a bit dry. Needs a touch of wet reverb to loosen it up. Melodies are very good throughout and the beats are well EQed. No complaints there. Not much else to say really, other than 'well done' cos this is a good remix. I probably prefer this to the original tbh. (Sshh, don't tell Nick and Erina Z tho.
