Without the use of admin rights !?

Audacity is mainly used as an internal sampler to rip internal audio via your desktop/laptop soundcard.

Also for cutting/splicing audio.

All the pro DAWs should work shouldn't they !?

I posted links to all the main DAW sites on another thread.
Check 3rd post.

Nuendo and FL Studio - a good combo?

Without admin rights? You mean free software?
Audacity is great for editing, is free and supports VST plugins.

If you think it is too basic I'm afraid you are out of luck because it is the most advanced free audio editor available. I would also suggest to really look into it before declaring it crap lol.

Yes it was the wrong place, you can ask questions about software in the 'Software' forum Wink

I'll move this into the right forum.

Aye Chron Audacity is a great free program.
But like I said I only real use that for ripping internal audio samples.

I prefer to use "cool edit pro" for splicing/cutting.
Yes I have the old version still.
I believe it is now owned by Adobe and has been renamed Adobe Audition.

Huh Confused Big Grin

Whatever !!!

I have Soundforge 8.0b but couldn't get it to work on this laptop for some reason.
Neither would any version of FL Studio.

Oh well.

Audacity is free though innit ! Big Grin

Audacity OWNS!

@BD "Why upload more than one tune at a time? Unless they are fantastic people won't judge them all.
Make a tune, get feedback, make another tune, get feedback..."

so true
