Just wanted abit of feed back on what soundcard to go for, dont need it for games ect but as the title says sub £200. Although a few quid over, (if there is a noticeable jump in quality ect), is not out of the question.
Reason 4 is my main choice, but I would like the option of using midi h/w too.

You could save some money and buy an external usb m-audio soundcard.

They are supposed to be pretty good quality.

Cheap too from maybe €50 upwards new.

They are the cheaper alternative to firewire cards.
Supposed to be as good as firewire cards since they made them usb 2.0

I think most come with midi, 3/4 jacks & RCA ins & outs.

Or Terratec Phase 26 USB - I have it and have no complaints (except, maybe, the 1 active recorder only option).
