Please check out my new track 'Final Spurt' and post your comments here!

This is a preview and just a vague concept, was a shitload of work though!

Mixing isn't done yet and the snare still lacks power as I couldn't find a decent one to layer.

Massive thanks to Binary Havoc for some good leads and tips!

Please leave your comments, much appreciated!

Cheers!

Very interesting track... beginning has almost a spaghetti Western feel, like the old Clint Eastwood movie soundtracks.

Do you play drums at all? I'm learning right now and I gotta say some of those fills are very tight.

Beat is nice and chill, I like how minimal the track is.

Not much else to say really but what you have is very cool Smile

a very nice sounding track, the flute(i think) goes really well with the style of drums. i like the intro alot and a nice bassline. but i recon you should try and incorporate that dirty bass with the deeper sounding bass. i know the track isnt finished but the drums lack that punch and distinction. i think a little more work on the drums and you have yourself a good release. the build up and drop (i think) needs some work. the melodie is fantastic in my opinion, sounds great. i think this would do well as a b-side. still keep up the good work and let us hear the finished track.
i hope this sint too critical....(who the hell is this guy)

i like the intro.. i can imagine a massive battlefield right befiore the battle itself.. and i luvvv saws... dropping.. the predrop is nicely done although i've got to admit i was hoping on a fat sawwy bass.. it's not bad.. i'ts great but it's one of those hypnotizing tracks.. it's just not my tatse, even though it's real nice shit.. if it's a matter of taste it's the least of your troublez cuz the sounds is nice but it sounds like one big intro building op to a deep bassline made out of the saws.. but thats my taste. chers

I want to like the intro but that flute melody reminds me of the titanic soundtrack so its quite hard. Sorry mateBig Grin
I dont like that drum roll at the drop it sounds like some cheap house.
I like the beats. It rolls well. I like the snare too but it needs a bit more power. The subbass sounds nice.
