Don't really know about that but this is a great site to download VsT/i's from.

got some good sub patches i can send you

or try

Subatomic

which is free and will do deep kicks and decent pure sine subs

novation v-station has one of the subbiest subs i've ever heard..
preset Bass 06 if i'm correct...

I can also vouch for V-Station, the junglistic sine thumps are beautifully clean and only need minimal tweaking to really make an impact!

+1 for V-Station.

You can also get some nice results with the freeware ASynth & Taurus, Glen Stegner's MiniMogueVA or some of the Angular Momentum plug-ins to name a few.

starrsynth 2.2 bass edition is free and its awesome, im not sure where i got it from though. It has great sub presets but by default its always too loud and clipping but if you turn it down its great
