Please check out my new track 'Invasion(sound The Alarm)' and post your comments here!
This is a neuro funk/tech step track ,I think, anyway this track was made in Reason 4. Well, it must be great because it did pretty well on other sites.
nice clean drums on this one, recognise the bunker alarm fx from Reason factory sound bank
nice little edits on the beat as well, i like the rides too. in terms of suggestions i reckon u could fatten up the synth bass stuff and get more of a crunchy sound layered to really give it some presence, possibly get a bit more sub on it
nice clean production overall but could do with some more to really beef it up. ez
Thanks for the review I have a new song that I am working on. It has a great distorted bass synth that I separated the frequencies and added different effects to them. The drums are a lot better too.
Drums other than kick and snare are barely audible. The kick is missing punch, the snare could use more snap. The bass is not loud enough. The whole thing is quite repetitive and unispired. Too much going on at the same time (e.g.@2:40) Panned synth at 3:25 is a bad idea. Melodies sound very random and without any groove or feel to them.
Mixdown is thin and misses sparkle, weak hi-end.

Don't boast ya fool.
Pisses BD off. - maybe some other people too.
HaHa
And another piece of advice ...
Don't upload loads of tracks at once.
Give people time to review one track as if you upload a boatload and they don't like the first one they click on then they probably gonna expect the rest to be similar and pass them over !

wtf is that about "it must be great"??? why you posting asking for feedback then dude? If it must be great then go get yourself a deal n enjoy the riches and respect that come with
TBH folks on this site are far more likely to give you an honest opinion
It's a very good review and rate system that I think even though some of the poll rate/review questions might be a bit complex for someone who may not know anything about stereo imaging, mastering, whatever - It's a clean fair system that actually in some peoples terms encourages them to try harder and do better next time.
Like it's been mentioned on other threads, the higher your rating, the more chance someone might notice your talent.
Albeit the reviews are more important.
Most people are honest on here.
Bar a few like some wanker that signed up a little while ago that was trying to promote their own tracks but being blunt, arrogant and rating everyone elses songs as low as possible.
Right it's 6:18am and I haven't been to sleep yet so g'morn
I just finished my new track, well the 1st version anyway. And I would say that it is a major improvement over my others. I think I will wait a little longer to upload it.
