alrite so ive finally posted my first song. you can check it out here

far from being finished i hope. i only started producing roughly 3 months ago so dont expect it to be great.

Not bad for a first one.... sounds a bit dry and the instruments sound a bit too "preset" I would like to hear some more wickedness.

haven't heard the song but quickly wanted to answer the question. When something sounds 'dry' it does not have enough reverb. When it has too much reverb it sounds too 'wet'. FYI Smile

You know what the value of dry and wet is no esé !?

Dry is as he said could be an unprocessed preset or sample whatever.

I think he means for you to layer more sounds, fx, reverb etc ...
Process them to give them more life & more variation is always good.
Add more elements to the overall mix.
Bit of phase'n, stereo imagin', maybe some slight panning, reverb, whatever you think it needs.

Beef it up and mind ya levels.
